Clandestine Plot
To Unseat Nigerian State Governor Peter Obi: Mutineers Must
Return To ‘Barracks’
New
York, October 25, 2006—Following
unpopular attempt by mutinous members of Anambra State House
of Assembly to remove the current Governor of Anambra State,
Nigeria, Mr. Peter Obi after the just concluded World Igbo Congress
(WIC) convention in Boston, United States of America from August
29, 2006 to September 4, 2006, Africans In America, Inc. wish
to state as follows:
Africans In America, Inc. representatives
attended the WIC convention at Marriott Copley Place, Boston,
Massachusetts and observed first hand the clandestine plot to
unseat Governor Peter Obi upon return delegates from Anambra
State, in action.
Africans In America, Inc. monitored the
clandestine movements of Okija shrines-installed present and
former government officials from Anambra State and their associates
who also attended the convention.
Now that the destabilization plot hatched
at Boston, Massachusetts and College Park, Maryland all in United
States has been confirmed, Africans In America, Inc. in solidarity
with the people of Anambra State, Nigeria wish to further state
the following:
This senseless, selfish, unpatriotic,
callous and sabotaging mutiny against the suffering and peace
loving people of Anambra State must cease, and the mutineers
must come out of their trenches and return to work (Anambra State
Assembly Complex) immediately.
The mutineers must apologize to the people
of Anambra State and seek forgiveness.
Part of the apology may include immediate
adjustment of the House leadership.
The House must pass a resolution renouncing
any oath taken at Satanic shrines which may form part of the
selfish and callous intrigues, and must pledge to work for the
interest of the people of Anambra State at all times.
As part of
Africans In America, Inc.’s
contribution to the peace process, we will not make public hard
evidence in our possession about the clandestine plot involving
the House members in the United States. This information is capable
of causing major social, national and international law enforcement
upheaval if released to the whole public.
Anambra State has suffered tremendous
known and untold tragedies therefore peace must be allowed to
reign.
Africans In America, Inc. is closely
watching developments in Anambra State of Nigeria.
