Africans In America, Inc. Rejoice with People
Of Anambra State, Nigeria Over Court Victory

New York, March 17, 2006—Following the eventual judicial prevalence of the peoples’ will originally high-jacked and subverted by high-roller crooks in Anambra State of Nigeria, Africans In America, Inc. wish to state the following:

We felicitate with the good and law-abiding people of Anambra State of Nigeria over the eventual validation of their mandate by the Court of Appeal in Enugu on March 15, 2006 .

The state indigenes in the United States remain on alert because the wishes of the people expressed in the state legislative elections remain largely unresolved. The new governor (Peter Obi) invariably inherited the ‘extra-legally’ imposed state legislature, a legislature that is a product of the same poisonous process that produced the court-ousted governor.

What took place in Anambra State from April 19, 2003 till March 15, 2006 were not political, not cultural, not ‘social’, but rather premeditated decision of a group of individuals to criminally scheme themselves into office and take control of the state treasury. Those were pure fraud and gross economic criminal brigandage against the defenseless people of Anambra State.

As providence would have it, the cabals (syndicate) did not agree on how to share the booty. Hence, they fought openly in the public. The fraud that began on April 19, 2003 eventually ended on March 15, 2006 . Also involved was gross abuse of the judicial process.

The questions Africans In America, Inc. have are very simple and direct, namely:

  • Is Nigeria justice system capable of addressing the fraud committed against the people of Anambra State within this period?
  • Shall the confessed perpetrators and confessed beneficiaries (President Obasanjo in a nationally televised program stated that both parties confessed to him on the grand fraud against the people) be held accountable for their actions?
  • Shall the new governor who invariably inherited the ‘un-elected’ state legislature, be allowed by the same legislature to do the work which the people duly elected him?
  • At what time shall the reported murder at satanic shrines at Okija be fully investigated and the culprits (both the murderers, observers and escorts) prosecuted?

Anambra indigenes contacting our office overwhelmingly express the hope that this development would bring peace and grass-root democratic developments in the peace loving state.
