August 2003—Africans In America, Inc.
is happy to announce that Cristhian Alcantara has joined our
volunteer team. Mr. Alcantara is from Peru and has a major
in Computer Science obtained from Mexico’s Monterrey
Tech, ITESM Campus Guadalajara.
”Working as a volunteer is
a great opportunity to meet new people, cooperate toward
a noble cause, and at the same time, it is an invaluable
chance to apply my skills and experience while I am continuing
my graduate studies in the United States, at NYU.”
He joined our volunteer team only few weeks ago and has already
made some tremendous impact. He has added features to our site
and done some updates. He plans to setup our network and upgrade
our technological system capability.
